Travelzoo makes UK debut

Sunday, 20 Oct, 2005 0

The UK arm of US online travel offers firm Travelzoo has gone live.

The company is offering a weekly email push service to subscribers of the top 20 deals from 500 travel companies including British Airways, Thomas Cook and Lastminute.com.

UK managing director Chris Loughlin said: “Travelzoo has been an extraordinary success in the US and we aim to replicate that in the UK.

“We have a strong brand which consumers recognise and respond to, and more importantly, a simple and direct line of communication to them. In a cluttered market, we aim to be the single voice and source of the best travel deals around.”
