TSA: Thanksgiving travelers set pandemic record
Returning Thanksgiving travelers again set a new pandemic-era record for the number of passengers screened by the Transportation Security Administration. TSA reported screening 2.45 million people on Sunday.
That represents about 85% of passenger volume on the corresponding day in 2019 before the pandemic.
In total, TSA said it screened more than 20 million travellers over the Thanksgiving week.
