TTI conference will focus on recession survival
Surviving the recession will be the theme of Travel Technology Initiative’s forthcoming Search and Rescue conference.
Travel industry players will be given top advice on how to survive the economic slump by increasing trade online.
The event, due to take place on 28 April in London, will cover five major themes including how to squeeze more profit from your search engine marketing budget and how to optimise your online, digital strategy.
Other themes will analyse the current online economic climate, look at how to make it on mobile channels and how best to start a new online business.
Among the 12 speakers lined up for the event are Sandra Leonhard, TUI head of ecommerce, Lowcost Travel Group CEO Paul Evans and Google industry manager travel Robin Devlin.
TTI general manager Mick Mott said: “These are tough times, especially for the travel industry. Travel companies need guidance on how to move forward in the face of recession.
“We have called this conference Search and Rescue in recognition of how improving your presence on the search engines and increasing online trading can rescue your business profits.”
The conference is being sponsored by OBAN Multilingual, Handy Group and Latitude.
Attendance is free for TTI members and £125 to members of associated travel organisations – AAC, ABTA, AITO, ETOA, IFITT, OpenTravel, and Ukinbound.
