Tulip Holidays takes on Travelink system

Sunday, 27 Jul, 2007 0

Turkey and Northern Cyprus specialist Tulip Holidays has adopted Comtec’s Travelink system.

It comes as part of a strategy to develop online bookings and increase sales through the trade.

The London-based operator, which has three retail outlets, plans to use Travelink to remove manual processes and act as a central platform for managing and selling its contracted accommodation and preferred flight suppliers.

The technology will also free up Tulip’s staff to spend more time with customers.
The Travelink system will also be used to power Tulip’s online booking service, which offers search and booking functionality for flight-only, accommodation-only and package holidays.

According to Comtec more than 70 specialist operators in the UK now use the Travelink system.
