Turkey bullish on red list removal this week

Turkey is increasingly confident it will be removed from the UK’s travel red list this week. It has been on the red list since May,impacting all leisure travel,.The next traffic light review is on 26 August.
The Turkish embassy in London is upbeat about its chances with Covid cases declining. It says its vaccination programme is going well with more than half of all adults fully jabbed. It argues several countries already allow quarantine-free travel from Turkey.
