UK park operator starts multi-million-pound upgrade
Holiday park operator Bunn Leisure has begun a £14 million refurbishment programme.
The five-star holiday village complex on the Selsey peninsula, West Sussex, has started building a new head office and main visitor reception.
A new entertainment complex and improvements at the White Horse and Green Lawns sites will follow next year.
Managing director John Bunn said: "This refurbishment programme will enable us to provide an even better service.
"We begin 2017 investing heavily in our facilities and it shows our ongoing commitment to be an innovative leader in the family holiday sector.
"Our park employs 350 full-time and 350 seasonal staff, and we welcome 100,000 holidaymakers every year.
The park, on the Manhood Peninsula in West Sussex, is made up of four villages, including a touring park right on the coast at Selsey, each with its own identity and appeal.
The announcement comes in the same week parks operator Away Resorts announced it is introducing boutique-style caravans at two of its holiday parks, Tattershall Lakes Country Park in Lincolnshire and Whitecliff Bay on the Isle of Wight.
