United Airlines adding Mexico flights at Chicago, Houston
United Airlines will start two new nonstop routes to the popular Mexican resort city of Mazatlan.
Mazatlan flights are coming to Chicago O’Hare and Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport which will both be offered seasonally.
Saturday-only service from Chicago begins on December 23 through April 7.
From December 21 to April 8 United will fly to Mazatlan from Houston four times a week and then wind down to a Saturday-only service from April 9 through August 13, 2018.
Both routes will be operated by Embraer E175 regional jets.
"We are pleased to offer the only nonstop service between Mazatlan and Chicago O’Hare and Houston Bush Intercontinental," said Jake Cefolia, vice president of sales.
"United has provided nonstop service from the U.S. to Mexico for the last 50 years and we look forward to serving Mazatlan, United’s 24th destination in Mexico."
United also this week announced new flights from Denver and San Francisco to Paine Field in Everett, just north of Seattle.
