United Airlines cutting some New Zealand flights

Monday, 9 January 20173 min read
United Airlines is tweaking its Auckland-San Francisco route, reducing it to a seasonal service.
The carrier will suspend flights from April and then resume the service in late October, Radio NZ reports.
The cutback is down to lack of demand for travel during these months, it says.
However it will run three extra peak season flights on the route from December.
Customers holding tickets for travel between April and October will be contacted by United and offered the option to transfer over to services operated by trans-pacific alliance partner Air New Zealand.
