United Airlines launching Newark, Chicago flights from San Jose

United Airlines is adding more cross-country air links from Silicon Valley.
United will add new routes from Mineta San Jose International Airport to two of its biggest hubs from March 2017.
Nonstop flights to United’s Newark hub begin on March 9 operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft’.
The same day it also launches twice daily service to Chicago O’Hare.
This effectively doubles the carrier’s route network from San Jose where it currently flies to Denver and Houston.
United customers in the Bay Area had frequently requested these cities be served from San Jose, Anthony Toth, United’s managing director of sales in California says.
