United Airlines has shaken up its executive leadership team with two new appointments.
Andrew Levy takes over as chief financial officer, replacing Gerry Laderman who had held the position in an interim capacity.
Laderman will revert to his previous role as senior vice president, finance, procurement and treasurer.
Levy spent more than a decade at low-cost carrier Allegiant Air, serving in a variety of finance and operations roles.
The airline also appointed Boston Consulting Group partner Julia Haywood as chief commercial officer, effectively filling the role of chief revenue officer James Compton, 60, who is retiring later this year.
"Julia and Andrew bring a powerful combination of industry perspective and experience to our leadership team," CEO Oscar Munoz said in a statement.
It is the first major management reshuffle since Munoz was appointed chief executive.
