United Airlines worker jailed for customer fraud
A former United Airlines customer service rep has been jailed for defrauding multiple custmers to the tune of more than $30,000. Hayder Lefta worked at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and had pleaded guilty to access device fraud by using customers’ card details to purchase airline flights and other travel services including hotel stays.
He was sentenced to 10 months in prison and has to pay restitution of more than $75,000.
