United Airlines has named company veteran and former chief pilot Bryan Quigley as senior vice president of flight operations.
Quigley takes over as SVP from Howard Attarian who is retiring.

He has been with the airline for more than two decades and was most recently San Francisco hub vice president.

Quigley served in the military for 26 years as a U.S. naval aviator.
Quigley’s position as San Francisco VP will be taken by current vice president of international, Matt Miller.
