United pilots agree bumper pay deal
United Airlines pilots have agreed the largest pay contract ever, worth a massive $10 billion.
Pilots have now ratified the bumper four-year contract.
It represents a 40% pay increase over four years, the union says.
The Air Line Pilots Association said 82% of pilots voted to accept the pay deal.
The new United contract includes improvements in sick leave, time and off and retirement benefits.
It covers about 16,000 United pilots.
Delta Air Lines and American Airlines have agreed deals with their pilots while the Southwest Airlines pilot union is still in talks over a new pay deal.
