US Airways signs five-year Galileo deal

Saturday, 20 Apr, 2006 0

A five-year full content agreement has been struck between US Airways and Galileo International.

The deal makes Galileo the preferred distribution channel for the carrier’s ticket sales.

It follows United Airlines striking a five-year participation pact with the GDS earlier this month.

All US Airways and America West fares – including web rates – will be availabelt via Cendant TDS-owned Galileo.

Cendat TDS supplier services senior vice-president Kurt Ekert said: “This long-term content agreement with US Airways is a very positive outcome for our agency customers, the airline and Cendant TDS and makes sense for all parties.”
