Taiwan low cost carrier V Air will begin flying between Taipei and Manila from next month.
Initially operating four times a week, the service will use 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flights depart Taipei’s Taoyuan Airport every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport with standard one-way fares expected to be around US$65, the airline said.
V Air launched a fare promotional at US17 to kick off the new service.
The carrier currently flies to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Siem Reap, Busan, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Osaka, with new flights to Tokyo Haneda and Ibaraki beginning next month.
