Vietnam Airlines launches in-flight Wi-Fi
Vietnam Airlines has rolled out its first ever Wi-Fi enabled aircraft.
Wi-Fi accessibility is now available on selected Airbus A350 services between its Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City hubs and Shanghai and Osaka.
"By providing the first in-flight Wi-Fi service in Vietnam, we hope to bring passengers a brand new experience and convenience," said Le Hong Ha, VN’s executive vice president.
To kick off the service the airline is offering 30 minutes free for its entry level ‘messaging’ service package until the end of the year.
Packages range in price from USD$2.95 to $29.95, depending on usage length and data capacity and can be paid for by credit card.
The airline said it hopes to roll it out to other aircraft in the near future.
