Grapevine’s prime location within the path of totality will give visitors an unmatched view of this rare celestial event.
As the moon aligns with the sun, darkness will cover the city. Gather to view the historic event in Grapevine’s parks, the Historic Main Street District or Historic Nash Farm.
To add to the ambience, themed music will be playing throughout the Historic Main Street District allowing guests to get in the mood for this historic moment.
There will also be photo ops to have pictures taken with costumed galactic characters.

Grapevine Vintage Railroad will offer two, one-hour excursions on the day of the eclipse. One begins at 9:50 a.m. and the other departs at 2:50 p.m.
For those looking to kick off the festivities early, head to Historic Nash Farm.
On Friday, April 5, an Eclipse Party will be held where guests can learn about safe ways to view eclipses. Visitors will experience a hands-on, craft-making session to learn how to make a pinhole camera while enjoying party games and eclipse stories.
