Visitors to Thessaloniki warned about defusion of WW2 bomb

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office is advising visitors to the Greek city of Thessaloniki of an operation planned for Sunday (February 12).

Greek authorities will carry out a planned evacuation of an area of 1.2 miles around the main railway line in order to defuse an unexploded World War 2 bomb.

Visitors are being advised that rail services may be affected and to follow the advice of local authorities.
