WestJet apologised and promised to investigate a technical issue on its app which seemed to display personal data of customers to other users.
According to users, information of others was seen, included home addresses, email accounts, and WestJet flight voucher details.
In some cases, partial credit card numbers were also visible.
The airline said the glitch has-been fixed.
“We take the privacy of our guests extremely seriously and will continue to provide updates to our guests as required,” WestJet said.
