Swiss International Air Lines has been voted top short-haul airline by Which? while Thomas Cook airlines came bottom.
Swiss got a customer score of 76% with Aer Lingus coming a distant second with 67%.
The worst ratings went to Thomas Cook Airlines (37%) and Ryanair (38%), with both airlines scoring only two stars for value for money.
Thomas Cook Airlines scores one star for cabin environment, while Ryanair scored one star for boarding.
Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand got first-class scores of 89% and 88% respectively in the long-haul category with Emirates in third place with 80%.
Rochelle Turner, Head of Research, Which? Travel, says:
"The airline you choose can have a big impact on your trip, making the difference between arriving feeling tired or refreshed.
“The top-rated airlines all score highly for both the cost and value for money of the flight and most still include free hold luggage, plus onboard drinks and snacks in the ticket price – something clearly prized by travellers."
More than 8,000 Which? members took part in the survey which was based on overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend to a friend.
