This year, there are expanded opportunities available for businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes, with categories available for accommodation providers, tour operators, and initiatives. Furthermore, 2014 sees a focus on people – highlighting social, economic, and cultural benefits.
Tourism operators have from now until the 23rd May to submit an entry into any of this year’s 4 categories:

The Wild Asia Responsible Tourism Awards, established in 2006, was one of the region’s first awards to identify leaders in socially and environmentally responsible tourism.
The awards criteria are based on international standards by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and are well-known for their opportunities for grass-root operators to gain international recognition, supported by a panel of locally based global experts in the field.SEE http://bit.ly/1hVS5uA
