Wizz Air expands Gatwick routes
Wizz Air has added two new routes from Gatwick, to the Canary Islands.
The islands were added to the UK government’s travel corridor list last week, meaning UK passengers don’t have to quarantine on return.
A three-times-a-week service to Tenerife starts on 31 October, operating Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and a twice-a-week service to Fuerteventura starts on 1 November, operating Monday and Friday.
A Lanzarote service is already operating, following the official launch of Wizz Air’s Gatwick base, which also saw fights to Athens, Naples and Malta introduced.
With the addition of the latest two Canary Island routes, Wizz Air now operates 11 routes from Gatwick.
Canary Islands flight prices start from £26.99 one way.
