Wizz Air Holdings enjoyed another profitable quarter with year on year Q3 revenue up 123%.

Overall, the company still expects to post a full year loss.

However, it sees a ‘solid fare environment’ and forecasts profit in the next financial year.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi has received eight aircraft and is set to more than quadruple its revenue in the present quarter.

Loadings were up nearly 60% for the quarter.

Revenue doubled to €911.7 million with net quarterly profit of €33.5 million.

“As we reach the end of January, we are seeing booking volumes coming in ahead of 2022,” it said.

“We continue to expect an overall net loss in FY23, but remain confident that FY24 will be profitable.”
