Wizz Air launching Larnaca flights from Birmingham
Wizz Air has announced the launch of a new low-fare holiday route from Birmingham to Larnaca, Cyprus.
It will begin in May 2021 to coincide with the anticipated restart of international travel.
Wizz Air will offer flights twice weekly to Larnaca from 17 May, with fares starting from £36.99.
Tickets are available now on wizzair.com or on the WIZZ mobile app.
This new route becomes the 11th low-fare route from Birmingham Airport.
Following the launch of three new bases and 60 new routes in the UK over the past year, the new route cements Wizz Air’s commitment to the UK market.
The airline now offers over 140 routes from 11 UK Airports.
Owain Jones, Managing Director of Wizz Air UK, said: "We are delighted to announce the addition of yet another destination to our network from Birmingham Airport, providing our customers in the West Midlands with more low-fare connections for their post lockdown getaway."
"We continue to prepare for the easing of restrictions and the team looks forward to welcoming everyone back."
The airline’s WIZZ Flex service allows passengers to cancel their flight up to three hours before departure without any fees and receive 100% of the fare immediately reimbursed in airline credit.
