Woodyhyde are reaping the rewards with a new website for their campsite!
CSI Media, with their speciality in campsite website design and travel technology were approached by Woodhyde to design and develop a new camping website with a custom booking solution. You can see imagery here.
Situated on the Isle of Purbeck, a peninsula in the beautiful county of Dorset, Woodyhyde is a family-oriented campsite with 160 unmarked pitches across 3 fields for camper vans, motorhomes and tents. You can visit their website here: https://www.woodyhyde.co.uk/
The new campsite website delivers on multiple key objectives; user-friendliness, responsiveness and effectively & authentically promoting the brand. Furthermore, it is built on an Umbraco content management system, which gives the team at Woodyhyde a high-level of control over their website.
The team at Woodhyde enjoy devising new content for the website, including an ‘out and about’ page which can be filtered by criteria setup in the Umbraco CMS, including ‘Attractions’, ‘Food and Drink’ and ‘What’s On in 2017’.
A custom booking solution was also developed which allows campers to make quick and easy bookings. The booking system integrates lots of bespoke features:

The flexibility for the campsite owner to amend bookings (extend or reduce) whilst automatically adjusting the charges

The automated creation of personalised booking confirmations, site rules, terms & conditions, directions and other information which are forwarded to the customer via email

A flexible shopping basket that allows customers to make a full or part payment

Inclusion of ‘extras’ in the booking flow, for example electric hook ups, with automatic calculation of the extras

Reporting facility which allows employees to track the number of bookings, expected arrivals and departures for specific days

Functionality enabling the campsite to add bookings retrospectively for arrivals during the night

The ability to implement a minimum of nights for bookings on specific dates
