Worldchoice agents and business partners raised £10,000 for charity at the recent Tenerife conference.

The money will be divided between mine clearance charity the Halo Trust and the ABTA Benevolent Fund, which helps existing and past members of the travel industry who have fallen on hard times due to illness or other reasons (but not business failure).

ABTA Benevolent Fund trustee and Worldchoice chairman, Colin Heal has asked Worldchoice members to contact him if they are aware of any cases which the Fund could assist.

Worldchoice announced on Friday that finance director, Chris Fife will leave the company on 1 July. He is leaving to pursue other roles in the industry, but is likely to maintain the role as conference organiser.
