Icelandic low cost carrier Wow Air will boost flights to daily service from Los Angeles and San Francisco in the spring.
Currently Wow serves LA four times and week and San Francisco five times weekly from Reykjavik’s Keflavik International Airport.
It serves the routes on economy only Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 350 seats.
Chief Executive Skúli Mogensen said there has been a ‘great response’ to the West Coast flights since launching in the early summer.
Fares are being touted at $99 to Reykjavik and $179 one-way to Amsterdam, Paris and London.
"We saw a great response to our new routes in Calfiornia this summer and are excited to begin daily flights from the West Coast to Europe beginning next spring," Mogensen said.
Wow serves 31 European destinations from its Reykjavik hub.
