Air Astana has opened sales for Seoul flights from Astana, operating twice a week.
The route is operated by Airbus A321LR and restarts on 15 June 2024.
The Astana to Seoul service was first launched in 2015 and suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The Seoul flights from Astana will run in addition to the daily flights from Air Astana’s Almaty hub to Seoul, with all services operated on a codeshare basis with Asiana Airlines.
Services between Almaty to Seoul were first launched in 2003.
Around 800,000 passengers have travelled on the route over the past two decades.
Air Astana’s other new 2024 summer schedule services include increases in the frequency of flights from Almaty to Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent up to 14 times a week.
Bishkek, Kyrgystan will fly up to eight times a week and Tbilisi up to nine times a week.
There are flights to the Tajikistan capital, Dushanbe up to four times a week and to Baku, Azerbaijan capital up to three times a week.
