Air India is mulling more flights to the US with Washington DC next on the wish list.
Days after creating a new world’s longest flight record for an eastbound Delhi to San Francisco flight, the national carrier wants to introduce its fifth US destination.
It already serves New York JFK, Newark, Chicago and San Francisco.
Along with DC, other new destinations are also being considered.
"We are going to connect Washington, Africa, Tel Aviv and many others," said managing director Ashwani Lohani.
He was speaking at a launch event for Air India’s new mobile app, which has been developed by SITA.
The new app offers mobile seat selection, meal preferences, flight changes and online check-in on the go.
