Amadeus has hired Directline Holidays’ CEO to be UK and Ireland commercial director.
Maria Whiteman will be responsible for developing the company’s commercial strategy and expanding its range of ‘consulting and solutions services’.
"Maria’s drive, combined with her enormous expertise in the travel sector, will be a huge advantage to us as we continue to grow the business in the UK," says Diane Bouzebiba, Managing Director, Amadeus UK & Ireland.
Whiteman, who will be based at the UK head office in Gatwick, has also worked for Travel 2 Travel 4 and Hayes & Jarvis.
