Ambassador Cruise Line is now officially a member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
The partnership will help boost Ambassador’s brand awareness across the industry, bringing them closer to CLIA’s community of cruise lines, travel agents and partners.
The Essex-based cruise line will benefit from full access to CLIA’s cruise community, its in-person and virtual events, and cruise learning programmes.
The company can also participate in flagship events like the annual CLIA Conference in May and CLIA Cruise Week this year from September 16–22.
Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland director, said: “Ambassador has gone from strength-to-strength in the domestic market and we’re very pleased to welcome them as a member.”
The line has already become a well-established brand in a short period of time, and we look forward to supporting them further develop and build relationships with the trade.”
Christian Verhounig, CEO, Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “Ambassador has cemented its position as a strong new cruise brand with a clear marketing proposition.”
“Our main objective for the coming months is focused on building brand awareness even further and encouraging more agents to feature and sell our cruise experiences.”
Ambassador Cruise Line was founded in April 2021, and offers departures from seven ports across Great Britain on two ships: Ambience, which launched in April 2022, and Ambition, in May 2023.
The cruise line has built a dedicated trade team of 13 who engage with travel agent partners.
It is led by Head of Distribution, Nicola Harper.
