Avianca changes unaccompanied minor rules
Avianca has revised its accompanied minor policy.
Starting today, May 15, only children aged 15 and above will be allowed to travel unaccompanied.
Those aged 14 or younger must travel with their parents or a responsible adult over 18 years old, the airline says.
The new rule takes effect from today.
Tickets purchased before May 15, 2024, for children planning to travel unaccompanied may do so and should report to the airport counter to complete the check-in process.
It means the minimum age for a minor to travel on Avianca unaccompanied is 15 years.
