British Airways has decided to ditch its flights from London Heathrow to Baku, saying the route is no longer commercially viable.
The airline currently operates six flights a week to the capital of Azerbaijan, but will operate the last service on April 29.
It inherited the route following its merger with bmi in 2012.
The airline said it will refund in full any tickets purchased after that date but said it is also approaching other airlines who may be able to accommodate affected passengers.
The route is still served by Azerbaijan Airlines.
