BA withdrawal prompts Jet2.com to open Nice sales early

Friday, 16 Aug, 2005 0

Jet2.com has put 2006 Manchester-Nice seats on sale early following British Airways’ decision to withdraw from the route.

The budget carrier has started selling the daily summer service from today, rather than later in the year due to the BA withdrawal.

Prices start at £21 one-way including taxes.

Jet2.com chief Philip Meeson said: “We continue to grow and prosper at Manchester while other airlines are cutting their routes. This is not the first time this had happened at Manchester with BA as it previously axed its long-standing Amsterdam service.”
