Balearic Islands ‘safe and ready’ for holidaymakers
The Balearic Islands expect to be included on the ‘green list’ of safe countries for UK holidaymakers to visit. Rosa Ana Morilla Rodriguez, Director General pf Tourism for the islands is ‘very optimistic.’
Nearly four million British holidaymakers visited the Balearics in 2019 and Morilla Rodriguez is confident it has all the ingredients needed to get a ‘green’ designation, with relatively low Covid numbers, and robust health protocols in place.
