Blue Cube appoints head of client and supplier management
Blue Cube Travel has appointed Sumit Gupta as head of client and supplier management.
His extensive background in the leisure and corporate travel industry spans 18 years in diverse sales, operational and technology roles in India and the UK, particularly in the hotel sector.
His career includes seven years with global hotel solutions specialist HRS Group, latterly as head of regional sales and account management – UK, Ireland and Northern Europe.
In the newly created role at Blue Cube, Gupta assumes responsibility for the management and strategic direction of the TMC’s supplier relations, account management and MICE business from Bex Deadman, who was recently promoted to managing director.
He will also represent Blue Cube as a member of the Business Travel Association’s Hotel & Apartment Strategy Group.
