Blue Monday sales boost for Mercury Holidays

Monday, 20 Jan, 2022 0

Blue Monday spurred the best sales day for Mercury Holidays since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

Top selling destinations were Malta, Cyprus and Madeira.

Best-selling long-haul destinations were Sri Lanka, and Mauritius.

Established in 1980, family-run Mercury Holidays has grown to become one of the UK’s leading independent tour operators.

Tom Bugeja, CEO of Mercury Holidays said: "We are delighted with the surge in sales for Mercury Holidays. What is often described as one of the bleakest Mondays of the year was in fact our best business day since March 2020."

"We are optimistic and excited for the year ahead and to get our loyal customers back to beloved destinations, both near and far."

Mercury Holidays has deals from £231 for a one week stay in Malta and two weeks in Mauritius for £1,248 per person.
