Board appointment at Thomas Cook
The financial chief of a technology company has joined the board of Thomas Cook Group as an independent non-executive director.
Martine Verluyten is chief financial officer of Brussels-based materials technology group Umicore and before that held a similar role at mobile telephone operator Mobistar.
Thomas Cook Group Chairman Michael Beckett said, "This appointment further strengthens and enhances our Board, in line with its policy on diversity.
"Martine brings valuable expertise and significant international experience to our deliberations as we deliver against our strategy and create value for our shareholders."
