Brendan Worldwide Vacations was sold to The Travel Corporation.

All Brendan management, including Gary and Jimmy Murphy, will continuing operations as a stand-alone company.

The Travel Corporation owns more than 15 separate travel and hotel companies. They include Trafalgar Tours, Insight Vacations, Uniworld Grand River Cruises, Contiki Holidays, Red Carnation Hotels, AAT Kings and African Travel.

Brendan’s President Gary Murphy said the move was a “perfect match.”

“They believe strongly in the travel agency distribution system, add significant buying power to the areas in the world that Brendan serves, and they are nice people to work with,” he said.

The deal is expected to be finalized in the near future.
