Business travel gets new networking showcase
A new event for the business travel industry will be launched next summer.
Business Travel Market will take place on June 17 and 18 at London Excel’s Exhibition Centre and is the brainchild of former manager of the Business Travel Show Paul Robin.
Said Robin: “The market appears to be ready for something new and exciting, an event that puts qualified business travel purchasers in front of travel suppliers. The backbone of Business Travel Market will feature a pre-arranged appointment system and provide fantastic networking and educational opportunities for all those who attend.’
Robin says the event will host key travel buyers from around the UK and Europe and will be backed by British Airways and Accor Hospitality.
Advisory board members include BA head of global corporate sales Richard Tams, Accor representative Jo Stevenson, former head of business travel management at HSBC Tony Pilcher and former ITM chair Tom Stone.
