Cadogan reshuffles product and commercial team
Cadogan Holidays has completed a reshuffle of its product and commercial team.
Doug Mathieson, who joined Cadogan in October 2006, has been promoted to head of this division, while David Sheate has joined the company as financial controller.
Sheate was was previously finance director UK at TQ3UK Travel Solutions until the takeover by BCD Travel. Following this takeover, he travelled across five continents.
Both report to Cadogan managing director Tom Allen and will also work alongside Geoff Lawrence, marketing and sales director.
The moves come after product director, John Riley, left the company early this year.
At the same time, Cadogan Holidays has restructured its product and commercial department into three geographical regions, headed up by Mathieson.
He will head up the North Africa and the Middle East region and will be supported by two new product managers – Prue Johnson and Jennie Laura Dalling.
Johnson, previously senior product manager for TUI UK, is product manager for the Algarve, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Spain, Gibraltar, Madeira, Porto Santo and The Azores.
Meanwhile, Dalling will take on the areas of Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Croatia and Italy.
She was most recently product and purchasing executive for Beachball Travel and Holidays, and before that with Crystal and Inghams.
Allen said: “The restructuring of the product and commercial department is part of our drive to work more closely with our overseas partners, maximise and build upon our expertise and to ensure the best possible product knowledge is imparted to travel agents.â€
