Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has been appointed to the board of directors of Expedia.
CNN Money revealed the appointment following a public filing to the SEC.
Clinton becomes the 14th board member for the Bellevue, WA based travel giant, earning a $45,000 retainer and more than $250,000 in stock, according to a Expedia proxy statement.
She also sits on the board of AC/InterActive Corp which owns several well known online brands including Investopedia and Dictionary.com
Clinton, 37 also sits on the boards of a number of non profits including the School of American Ballet and the Health Access Initiative of the much maligned Clinton Foundation.
