China could begin Boeing Max test flights soon
China could soon start long-delayed flight tests on Boeing’s 737 Max aircraft. The plane maker plans to send a team of pilots and engineers to China later this month to start the process ahead of test flights.
Boeing had initially hoped to have the Max flying again in China by the end of last year but various trade and political disputes with the US have got in the way.
Even after any successful test flights, the validation process could last several months before it gets regulatory approval to fly again in China.
