CLIA Cruise Week goes online
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia will promote Cruise Week through a new interactive online magazine.
Using the new platform would make the event more accessible to consumers and agents, said CLIA Australasia general manager Brett Jardine.
The e-zine will will be heavily promoted online and in social media and a marketing campaign will also include print ads in major mainstream magazines.
"People spend more time online today than they do reading the newspaper, watching TV or listening to the radio – so it makes good sense to take Cruise Week into the digital space," Jardine said.
Content will feature interviews with regular cruisers and celebrities showcasing the benefits of cruise holidays and an overview of ship amenities and destination profiles.
The e-zine can be accessed on the Cruise Week website at www.cruiseweek.org
Cruise Week takes place this year from September 7-14.
