Considerate Hoteliers goes international
The Considerate Hoteliers, responsible hoteliers with over 240 hotel current membership has launched a new website and goes international
CH is now reaching out to Hotels in Europe and beyond in order to widen its network and for its members to exchange best practices, case studies and relevant knowledge on an international basis. Clear evidence of this new intent is the inclusion of the Considerate International Hotel of the Year category in this year’s awards programme.
The organisation’s main focus is to encourage and assist hoteliers to adopt economically, socially and environmentally sustainable policies and practices. These should enhance the viability of the hotels businesses, the environment and the quality of the experience to their guests, staff and visitors. In order to achieve this objective CH will now be offering its members a series of hugely enhanced services some of which they can access via the ‘Members Only’ Knowledge Hub, an area rich with information on sustainability issues only relevant to the hotel sector.
The suppliers directory has also been expanded and three new hotels have joined -Corinthia Hotel London, InterContinental London – Westminster and the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London
Both the Corinthia Hotel London and InterContinental London – Westminster are, housed in historical listed buildings and the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is a state of the art cutting edge design of a 1000 bedrooms.
Matthew Dixon, General Manager of the Corinthia Hotel London says "We are delighted to have joined Considerate Hoteliers, an association that fully complements our business ethics and sustainable practices here at Corinthia Hotel London and throughout the group.
