Disney going to Europe - TravelMole

Disney going to Europe

Saturday, 16 Mar, 2006 0

Adventures by Disney, which last year started sending vacationers on guided trips to popular areas of Hawaii and Yellowstone Park in Wyoming, is expanding to Europe and other world destinations.

Future trips will be to Calgary, Jasper, Banff and Yoho along the Canadian Rockies; Tuscany and Venice in Italy; and London and Paris.

Disney officials say the Adventures are in places where they are in competition with others.

With the group travel arrangement, however, Disney does not have to build new parks.

The company contracts with resorts and provides a Disney guide to lead the family-style vacations. Prices typically range from $2700 to $3700. Groups have to find their own transportation.
