EasyJet lands in Djerba
Leisure carrier easyJet recently touched down in holiday hotspot Djerba in Tunisia with the inaugural flight from London Luton.
The new twice-weekly service is a brand-new destination in easyJet’s network and adds to winter holiday options.
Offshore island Djerba is known for its beaches and whitewashed desert towns.
Djerba flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “Djerba is a new and exciting destination in our network and will appeal to those customers looking for a unique, off the beaten track winter holiday.
EasyJet has now flown 124 million passengers from London Luton airport since launching flights 30 years ago.
It offers holiday flights from London Luton to leisure destinations such as Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt.
Flights on new routes are now available to book at easyJet.com and via the mobile app.
