EasyJet launches cycling holidays
EasyJet holidays is launching a collection of European cycling holidays.
The holidays feature 35 handpicked hotels close to well-known cycle routes in nine destinations throughout Europe, including Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
Hotel staff are on hand to give advice and information on the local cycle routes, cycle lock-up and storage areas and bike repair facilities.
Customers can take their own bike or hire one in resort.
As a launch offer, easyJet is giving one free bike carriage, worth £70, for customers who book their cycling holiday by June 20 2016.
EasyJet holidays is providing flights to former England rugby captain and World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio (pictured here) and fellow riders who are undertaking a 1,861 kilometre charity ‘Dallaglio Cycle Slam.’
Money raised from the ride will go to the Dallaglio Foundation and its RugbyWorks programme which helps 14-17 year olds who have been excluded from mainstream education into sustained employment, education or training.
