Etihad inks codeshare pact with Italy’s ITA Airways
Etihad Airways and new Italian national carrier ITA Airways have signed a codeshare agreement.
The partnership is designed to boost business travel and tourism between Italy and the UAE, and offer easier connectivity via hubs Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa and Abu Dhabi.
Codeshare flights are available for sale.
ITA Airways will apply its ‘AZ’ code on Etihad operated flights between Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa and Abu Dhabi. Etihad offer its customers connecting Italian domestic services to Genova, Bari, Brindisi, Catania, Palermo as well as Malta.
