A former British Airways’ sales director has joined Spanish airline Vueling in the same role.
Jordi Porcel, who was BA sale director for Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar since 2005, will lead a 25-strong team and serve on Vueling’s steering committee.
He will be responsible for managing agreements with travel agencies, tour operators and charter airlines in a department with generates more than 50% of the airline’s business.
He will be responsible for the sales strategy in Spain and in other markets including France, Italy and the Netherlands.
